Legacía is a musical project created by a multigenerational contingent of artists from the Loco Bloco Mission District Community. Through a generous artist grant provided by the Zoo Labs Artist Accelerator, the core team was able to build on the Afro-Latino musical traditions that have defined Loco Bloco for the past three decades.

The culmination is a creation of love and resilience celebrating the legacy of Loco Bloco while also looking to the future. All proceeds from this album will go directly to continue funding Loco Bloco’s work providing free Afro-Latino arts classes for youth in San Francisco and beyond.
